Below is the class packet download for our four-week Beginning Cake Decorating series. The packet is contained in an Excel document with tabs at the bottom that will allow you to go through the four pages. Please read over the packet carefully. Each page will detail the four nights of the class including pre-class instructions (generally just baking your cake) as well as the full supply list on the final page. You are not obligated to buy any of your supplies brand new or even from us if you prefer, though we do carry everything in shop that you'll need. Let us know if you have any questions!

Beginning Cake Decorating-4weeks
This four week series takes you through all the basics. In class 1 you will learn how to level the cake, splitting and filling the cake, crumb coating, applying and smoothing buttercream, shell borders and small flowers. In class 2, you can choose either a car cake or a fish bowl cake, made from the pans you already have at home. Decorate them using a star tip technique. Class 3 is dedicated to learning buttercream roses and also features techniques like over piping, hot knifing shapes, and leaves. Class 4 is the jungle cake. You will learn how to pipe a variety of animals including monkeys, alligators, lions and more. Finish off the cake with bushes, palm trees and writing. Beginning cake decorating will leave you feeling creative and confident, ready to tackle the world of cake decorating.
Make your cupcakes look professional and have lots of fun! This quick two hour class teaches you some fun designs you can share. Just bring 12 undecorated cupcakes and 2 lbs. of buttercream frosting and we'll supply all the rest. Leave with 12 different designs. While in each class we do a few of the most popular designs, the rest change with the seasons and holidays.

Do your cookies cut out perfect but then blob when baked? Do you spend too much time trying to smooth the icing? Stop stressing and take our cookie art class. We show you all the tricks! From getting your cookies to stay the perfect shape to getting that royal icing glossy and smooth. Each student gets 5-6 cookies to decorate, and we take you step-by-step through the whole process. We'll even give you our recipe!
You've seen it on all of the baking shows. Now it's your chance to try it for yourself. This simple two hour class will show you all the basics to fondant to help you feel confident and equipped to challenge any cake. Learn the differences between types and brands of fondant. Learn how to color the fondant and tricks for covering your cake. Then finish off your cake by learning a variety of decorations and borders.

It's the newest craze! Everyone loves cake pops. They are fun to eat and even more fun to make! Master these tasty treats in only two hours. How to mix them so they aren't too sweet. How to keep them perfectly round. How to make different designs that are easy and delicious. That's right Mickey Mouse we're talking about you. Charm your neighbors and delight your friends with these amazing little sweets!
Truffles & Filled Candies
Who doesn't love a box of chocolates? Who's tired of paying the hefty price tag? Learn a variety of filled candies from peanut butter to turtle, from toffee to coconut. Leave class with an entire box of chocolates as professional looking as the stores and ready to devour. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone how many were supposed to be in the box.
Forget those expensive caramel apples at the mall! Learn how to make your own professional looking and delicious tasting caramel apples. In this class you will make 3 caramel apples. The first is best-selling apple pie apple. We give you our secrets to making this apple taste just like the real thing. Second, is the tuxedo apple. These are great for weddings, Valentine's day and more. Decorate the third apple with toppings of your choice. Choose from coconut, peanuts, toffee, oreos, sprinkles, chocolate chips and more. Want to rival Disneyland? Learn how to decorate them like your favorite Disney characters or dress them up for the holidays.
Gum Paste Flowers
This hands on class will take you through a variety of different flowers. You will start with smaller simpler flowers and work up to a full rose. We do take requests for the class if there is a particular flower you would like to learn. Please notify us when you register so we have time to prepare for the class.

Don't have an airbrush gun? Always wanted to play with one? Take our class! We supply the guns, colors, and stencils. All you need to bring is a roll of unprinted paper towels to practice. (You are welcome to bring a cake or cookies to practice on but it is not required.) Learn the airbrush maintenance and cleaning to keep your airbrush gun working for years to come. See how to layer the colors for different effects. Just be sure not to wear your nicest clothes, or bring an apron, in case the color gets a little away from you.
Wedding Cake 101
No more cake disasters! Wedding cake 101 is a demonstration class focusing on the process of stacking and pillaring cakes. Learn the difference between the various support methods. We discuss transportation and how to make sure your cake arrives safely. See how to make repairs and how to finish with final touches on site.
Fondant Figures Demo
In this class you will learn all the basics to making different fondant figures. We show how to prepare the fondant, the use of armatures, and tricks for shaping the fondant. You will receive a handout on proportions for the body and head. We demo one animal and one person.
