Frosting & Whipped Toppings
Buttercream
We carry an exceptional brand of buttercream frosting that is available in both a great tasting vanilla and chocolate flavor. Don't believe us? Stop by our store some time and ask to try a sample; we would be happy to give you a taste!
Our buttercream is non-dairy, which makes it shelf stable. This means that it will last for 6-8 months stored in a cool, dry pantry space without spoiling, making it perfect for long term projects or bakers whipping up goodies on a regular basis. It's also considered a high decorating quality frosting that will stand up well on all types of cake designs, from the simple to the elaborate.
We offer our buttercream in 2lb. and 10lb. containers with 35lb. buckets available on request.

Dawn Whipped Topping
Looking for a frosting option that isn't as sweet as buttercream? Look no further than our frozen whipped topping from Dawn! Available in both vanilla and chocolate, Dawn whipped toppings have the taste and texture of a light cool whip or mousse and are not nearly as sweet as most buttercreams. They combine easily with most fruit fillings to create some sensational fruit mousses, such as strawberry or raspberry mousse, that we just love!
This whipped topping does have some disadvantages, though, when working with it. Mainly, it doesn't stand up to heat very well, so make sure your events are air conditioned when using this product! It also takes food coloring only to a pastel shade and will not do the strong decorating work that a buttercream will do. If working with the whipped topping, we suggest using it as a filling so that minimal buttercream flavors are used.
Dawn toppings come frozen and simply need to be defrosted and whipped up in a stand mixer (similar to whipping up egg whites into a meringue) to be made. And don't worry about over mixing it: the more you mix, the stiffer and firmer it will get without falling flat on you! You can always leave it be or set it in the fridge to let it rest if you feel you need it to re-soften after whipping it up.
