Fondant
We carry two different brands of fondant here at The Kilted Cake: Fondx & Satin Ice! Check out each of the brands below as we share some more in depth information on them.
Fondx
Fondx is our most popular brand of fondant and the one that we personally use on 99% of our cake orders. It's a very pliable and easy to knead fondant that doesn't dry out as fast as the Satin Ice brand does, so you have a nice, longer period of time to work with it. It also has a slight shine to it when dry alongside a marshmallow flavor, and smaller pieces will harden up easily over night for pre-made decorations!
We offer Fondx in 1lb., 2lb., 5lb.,10lb., & 22lb. quantities.

Satin Ice is one of more softer brands of fondant. It has a lot of stretch to it so that you can cover slightly more area on your cakes and it has a great vanilla flavor! It also dries faster than Fondx does, which is great if you're in a time crunch, but it also means you have to work a bit faster with it before it dries out. It's also the same fondant used by Cake Boss!
